La Greater Lansing Food Bank (GLFB) répond aux besoins alimentaires d'urgence dans la région du Grand Lansing. La GLFB coordonne, finance et soutient les banques alimentaires locales, les abris et les cuisines communautaires. Par le biais de son programme Food Movers, nous récupérons les denrées périssables et les distribuons aux abris, aux cuisines communautaires, aux logements pour personnes âgées, aux logements subventionnés et à d'autres endroits de notre communauté où il y a un besoin de nourriture. Notre projet de jardinage soutient les jardins communautaires et les jardins résidentiels à faible revenu en leur fournissant des graines, des plantes, des informations et de l'expertise. Il organise également un important programme de glanage à la MSU et dans d'autres fermes communautaires.
