LANSING, MI – Greater Lansing Food Bank (GLFB) is pleased to announce the board leadership for fiscal year 2022-2023: Nikali Luke, Chair (Simplified Tax & Accounting Service PC), Carrie Waggoner, Vice-Chair (Network for Public Health Law), Ken Klein, Treasurer (Northbrook Investment Management) and Lavon Dennis, Secretary (Coverys). GLFB also welcomes new board member Maureen Abood Shaheen. The leadership and members provide strategic direction needed for continued growth around GLFB’s mission – partner to alleviate hunger one meal at a time, to create a future where everyone has access to nourishing food.

She believes in the mission and work of the Greater Lansing Food Bank as we continue striving to ensure no member of our community goes hungry.”
Maureen Abood Shaheen is publisher of MaureenAbood.com, her award-winning web site and online market is devoted to Lebanese cooking and baking. She is author of the Michigan Notable book, Rose Water & Orange Blossoms: Fresh & Classic Recipes from My Lebanese Kitchen. She is a native of Lansing. Her community involvements include the Harbor Springs Festival of the Book board of directors and the Little Traverse Conservancy.
