Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) has become a popular method to buy local, seasonal food directly from a farmer. At the CSA Fair you can meet nearly a dozen farmers and learn how you and your family can receive best in-season vegetables and other farm favorites.
The CSA Fair is a great first step to inform, engage, and sign up folks who are interested in the program. A winter CSA Fair ensures enough time for farmers and CSA participants to coordinate before fields are planted in the early spring, best matching supply and demand.
Presented collaboratively by Lansing Roots and Allen Market Place, this family-friendly event also features live music, tasty treats from concession vendors, brews from Sleepwalker Spirits and Ales, and a raffle for locavore-centric goodie baskets!
