Lansing Mayor Andy Schor and East Lansing Mayor Mark Meadows will host the 2018 Mayors’ Ramadan Unity Dinner on Friday, June 29 from 6-9 p.m. at the Lansing Center, 333 E. Michigan Ave. This year’s theme is: “Zero Tolerance for Hunger.”
The mission of the Ramadan Unity Dinner is to raise money for Greater Lansing Food Bank, to bring awareness to the plight of those who go hungry and to promote a better understanding of how we can impart hope and help feed those in our community who experience hunger. The event also serves to celebrate diversity in our region. For the past eleven years, this event has embraced all community members — regardless of faith — so they can unite and work together toward a common goal.
All community members are invited to attend this special event.
Tickets are:
$15 for students
$25 for individuals
$80 for a family of four
