Host a food or fund drive!

Hosting a food or fund drive is a fun, hands-on way to involve your friends, family or coworkers in the fight to end hunger. A food drive collects nonperishable food donations and a fund drive collects monetary donations. Getting started is easy:

  1. Choose a food or fund drive, or do a combination of both!
  2. Select dates. Make sure to give yourself time to plan and promote.
  3. Set a goal. Working toward a goal is a good way to measure success and celebrate your efforts.
  4. Promote your food or fund drive.  Use social media and send out group emails to help spread the word. Be sure to tag GLFB on social media!

Yes. In addition to food, GLFB accepts an array of personal care products. Some examples include diapers, menstrual products, soap, shampoo, socks, toilet paper, toothbrushes, toothpaste and pet food.
