Summer Meals 2017!

During summer, kids loose access to food served in the cafeteria. In order to ensure that kids get the nutrition they need, organizations provide meals to children up to the age of 18 AT NO COST to families. Open summer meal sites are on a first come, first serve basis and do not require any paperwork to be filled out. Summer meal sites are commonly known as #MeetUpEatUp sites in Michigan and are funded by the USDA’s Summer Food Service Program.

Sites and meal service times can be found by searching USDA websitehttps://www.fns.usda.gov/summerfoodrocks

Michigan 2-1-1 also maintains a database of all meal sites and times.

Please note that sites are operated by GLFB partners and other external organizations. Please contact a site directly for more information.
