Greater Lansing Food Bank is proud to serve the mid-Michigan counties of Clare, Clinton, Eaton Gratiot, Ingham, Isabella and Shiawassee by partnering with a diverse network of food pantries, community kitchens and other trusted community organizations and by offering programs like mobile food pantries, Weekend Kits for Children, Care Kits for unhoused neighbors and, most recently, home delivery services for neighbors who are elderly, disabled or experience barriers to transportation.

Home Delivery

Home Delivery provides safe, convenient delivery of food to mid-Michigan neighbors, free of charge, within a 10-mile radius of our designated delivery hubs to home-bound neighbors and neighbors who lack access to reliable transportation in need of emergency food.

Weekend Kits

Weekend Kits are bags of food that slip discretely into a child’s backpack and are intended to meet the nutritional needs of children during non-school hours, particularly over weekends or longer breaks.

Care Kits

Care Kits provide ready-made or easy-to-prepare food, utensils and other necessities like toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo and other personal care items to neighbors experiencing homelessness. They are distributed through partner agencies and community partners who serve this population.

Senior Programs

The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) works to improve the health of low-income persons at least 60 years of age by supplementing their diet with nutritious USDA foods.
