Hunger is Here. So are We.
This phrase succinctly explains what Greater Lansing Food Bank (GLFB) does every day. Wherever hunger might be, we are there to help families, seniors and children in need. We see hunger in rural, suburban and urban centers throughout our seven county service area. We see everything from seniors struggling with medical costs and children who are worried about going on winter break because they won’t have access to the school cafeteria.
In order to help those at risk, we are constantly responding to changing needs. We consistently seek innovative solutions to hunger. We’ve increased fresh produce distribution because our clients deserve healthy, nutritious options. We’ve added and increased mobile food pantries in order to offer different pick up times and locations for our working families. Where ever hunger is, so are we.
I hope you’ll support us during our 2017 Holiday Campaign by holding a food drive, by sharing stories of our impact or by making a donation. Ultimately, we could not be there for our clients without your support. Your generosity fills our warehouse so that we can fill the cupboards throughout our region.
