The 33rd annual Empty Bowls event was held Friday, Oct. 27, 2023 from 11 a.m. — 1:30 p.m. at Tavern & Tap (111 E. Michigan Ave. in downtown Lansing, formerly Troppo). This fundraising event is made possible thanks to our friends at the Greater Lansing Potters’ Guild and Clayworks, who donate their time and talents to create hundreds of beautiful bowls each year.

Guests receive a handcrafted bowl and soup lunch to symbolize how even humble meals can have transformative impacts when shared alongside friends and neighbors. This event is a great source of support in GLFB’s fight against hunger in mid-Michigan and we hope you can join us for lunch on Oct. 27!
