Plots available to the general public, with priority placement for Lansing Township residents that register by April 15th.

Established in 2009, Slater Park Garden provides an opportunity for individuals and families to grow their own healthy food and cultivate connections with their community. This garden is all organic and sits on Lansing Township property. All gardeners are required to agree to and sign a Hold Harmless Agreement with the Charter Township of Lansing, submitting their agreement to Garden Project before plot assignment. Township residents are given priority placement to garden at Slater Park Community Garden by registering before April 15th.

    Registration for 2022 returning gardeners opened March 1, 2022. (If you are a returning gardener, submit your registration by April 1 to reserve your same plot. If you need the link or registration form sent to you, please contact Garden Project at (517) 853-7809 or gardenproject@glfoodbank.org.) Plot registration will open online to new gardeners on April 1.
