North School Community Garden

Public Garden Grow-Your-Own Garden

Plots available to the general public. 

Established in 1987, this garden provides space for people to grow their own food. The garden is fenced and locked during the growing season (gardeners have the lock combo). Longtime Lansing residents and new Americans mingle in this well-established garden. Average plot size is 20×22 ft. Water is provided from spigots surrounding the garden. Hoses and watering cans are provided.

    Registration for returning gardeners opens March 1. (If you are a returning gardener, submit your registration by April 1 to reserve your same plot. If you need the link or registration form sent to you, please contact Garden Project at (517) 853-7809 or Plot registration will open online to new gardeners on April 1.
