About Weekend Kits
Los kits de fin de semana son bolsas de alimentos que caben discretamente en la mochila de los niños y están pensados para cubrir las necesidades nutricionales de los niños durante las horas no lectivas, especialmente los fines de semana o los descansos más largos.
Program eligibility
There are no eligibility requirements to participate in this program and any child in need of food can receive a Weekend Kit. All school-aged children from kindergarten to 12th grade are eligible to participate in GLFB’s Weekend Kits program. There is no cost to your family to participate in this program.

Summer resources
School ends, but hunger doesn’t. If your family is in need of food resources when school is not in session, we are here to help. The following community partners offer Weekend Kit pickup during summer break. Contact the organization closest to you for details.
