About CSFP

The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) works to improve the health of income eligible persons at least 60 years of age by supplementing their diet with nutritious USDA foods. USDA distributes both food and administrative funds to participating states and Indian Tribal Organizations to operate CSFP.

CSFP income guidelines are established at the federal level. You can view the 2023 CSFP income guidelines for Michigan at the link below.

Important notice about CSFP service for Clinton, Eaton, Ingham and Shiawassee Counties

As of Nov. 1, 2023, CSFP service for Clinton, Eaton, Ingham and Shiawassee Counties will be provided by Greater Lansing Food Bank (GLFB). If you are currently enrolled in CSFP, you will be contacted in mid-November with information on your pick up or delivery date and time. No action is required from you at this time — you will continue to receive your CSFP commodity food box beginning with the December distribution.

While CSFP service will not take place in November, GLFB and our network of more than 140 partner agencies offer many resources to ensure all our mid-Michigan neighbors have access to the food they need to thrive, including drive-through mobile food pantries across our service area. Please visit our Get Help page or call (517) 449-0360 for the most up-to-date information on resources available to serve you.

If you have other CSFP-related inquiries, please call (517) 853-7816 or complete the form below.
