About Weekend Kits
أطقم طعام عطلة نهاية الأسبوع هي عبارة عن أكياس من الطعام توضع في حقيبة ظهر الطفل بشكل خفي وتهدف إلى تلبية الاحتياجات الغذائية للأطفال خلال غير ساعات الدوام المدرسي، خاصة خلال عطلات نهاية الأسبوع أو فترات الراحة الطويلة.
اعتباراً من 1 يوليو 2023، تولت مؤسسة GLFB ملكية وقيادة برنامج حقائب الظهر WSK الذي كانت تديره سابقاً مجموعات البقاء على قيد الحياة في عطلة نهاية الأسبوع.

There are no eligibility requirements to participate in this program and any child in need of food can receive a Weekend Kit. All school-aged children from kindergarten to 12th grade are eligible to participate in GLFB’s Weekend Kits program. There is no cost to your family to participate in this program.

Summer resources
School ends, but hunger doesn’t. If your family is in need of food resources when school is not in session, we are here to help. The following community partners offer Weekend Kit pickup during summer break. Contact the organization closest to you for details.
