The Silent Struggle of Senior Hunger

During the month of May, our partner, Feeding America, recognizes Older Americans Month by drawing attention to senior hunger.

When it comes to hunger relief, seniors often get pushed to the background. This is because seniors are not the type to ask for help. However, there are so many seniors who are struggling to get by.

In America, nearly five million people over the age of 60 face hunger. These are people who now live on fixed incomes which can force them to choose between paying for health care and buying groceries.
