Lansing Roots Farm Coordinator
The Farm Coordinator is responsible for coordination and oversight of all physical operations at the 10-acre Lansing Roots Incubator Farm site, technical assistance to farmers participating in the Lansing Roots Program, and growing produce for GLFB distribution to individuals, agencies, or other community partners. This position will be primarily farm-based, with limited office time. Flexibility of schedule due to seasonal and weather-related needs is a must, as is the ability and desire to perform highly physical labor for long periods of time outdoors and in all weather conditions.
Lansing Roots Marketing Coordinator
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for assisting farmers participating in the Lansing Roots Program in growing, marketing, and selling their produce and goods. Our marketing collective’s primary sales are through a multi-producer CSA (Community Supported Agriculture), with wholesale sales and weekly farm stands during peak growing season. We are looking for an energetic and outgoing person to help further our vision. This position is both hands-on in the field and in the office supporting individuals starting their own farm businesses.
