We are seeking a full time, salaried, employee at the Greater Lansing Food Bank (GLFB), focusing on increasing our capacity through: volunteer outreach, recruitment and retention; garden resource procurement; and, garden leadership cultivation for our Garden Project program. Demonstration Farm Coordinator (Updated July 15, 2015)

We are seeking a full time employee through AmeriCorps to assist us with growing fresh food for distribution and as an education tool for the community. The AmeriCorps member will collaborate with staff (primarily Lansing Roots Program Manager) to engage, cultivate and educate specialized, individual volunteers and groups of volunteers for programming functions related to farming and gardening. The position will offer support to components of a training farm (Lansing Roots), now in its fourth season of production. Most service will be focused on our produce donation and demonstration farm plot, which models sustainable growing practices while producing food for the Greater Lansing Food Bank. MiFBAN Project Coordinator (Updated July 15, 2015)

We are seeking a part time employee through AmeriCorps to assist us with our increasing efforts to distribute more produce to our community.
